Oslo Norway December 7, 2020 –Today Opera launches the next version of their flagship Android browser. WebSnap has been added to Opera’s Android browser version 61. The feature allows you to snap photos and share them with others via the browser. Opera browser Android version 61 also includes a media playback feature that lets users view and listen to any file or audio in the browser. This allows them not to have third-party software installed on their Android phones.
WebSnap appeared for the first time in Opera Browser on Mac OS and PC. The web browser allows you to snap photos from the internet and use a number of editing tools as well as Opera’s emoticon collection to personalize each one.
“People use the web to take photos to save important data or to share with friends,” Stefan Stjernelund said, Opera for Android Product Director. People can make snapshots that are more personal, fun and memorable, whether they’re capturing images, receipts, or even wish lists.
WebSnap users can be as creative and imaginative as possible. You can share your full photo with friends via WebSnap’s standard share functionality.
No need for third party players
Opera Browser Android’s media player allows users to open all audio and video files directly from the browser.
Stjernelund explained that many people access large files on websites daily. Opera browser provides users with a media player which supports HTML5 embedded files on websites. They don’t need any additional software to play the files they want.
You can also use the Play Queue option to view or hear media files according to your preference. It adds utility and functionality to the Download Manager in a manner that third-party players cannot. With picture-in-picture support, users can surf while also listening to audio and watching videos.
Opera browser for Android now has a media player that offers a user-friendly interface and more control options for personalized media. If the media supports it, the media player’s menu allows users to change the playback speed or video quality. Open captions are also available. Users have seven options: English, French German German Italian Russian Russian Swedish or Turkish.
For those who are buying Android smartphones this holiday season
